Shri Giri Engineering Works

Shri Giri Engineering Works is located at 68, Sathy Road, in the Ganapathy area. If you come by, you’ll probably hear us before you see us because the machines make a fair bit of noise. We do a lot of general engineering work, so there is always some metal being turned or drilled. The workshop floor is always a bit greasy, which is expected in this line of work. We have a few lathe machines and some older equipment that still works perfectly fine for what we do. The building is right on Sathy Road, so it’s easy for people to drop off their parts or pick up finished jobs. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for hours. We are a small team, and we mostly just wear our overalls and get on with the tasks. There’s no big corporate structure here; it’s just the owner and a few workers who have been doing this for years. We handle all sorts of small and medium engineering jobs that come our way from other businesses in Ganapathy. It’s a gritty, hands-on environment, but we like it that way. We just focus on the work and making sure everything fits the way it’s supposed to. Some days the noise is a lot, but we are used to it by now.
