Shree Garments

Our place, Shree Garments, is at No. 4 Selvalakshmi Nagar. We’re in the Veerapandi Post area, specifically Aruljothi Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek if you don't know the way, but once you find Selvalakshmi Nagar, we’re right there at number 4. We’ve been operating from this building for quite some time now. It’s a simple setup with a few rooms where we do the cutting and the sewing. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. We just have our tables and the equipment we need to do the job. The light coming through the front window is pretty good in the morning hours. We usually start early before it gets too hot inside. Aruljothi Nagar is a nice enough place to work. It’s mostly residential around us, so it’s not too noisy during the day. We see the kids walking to school and the neighbors going about their own business. We try to stay organized, but with so many rolls of cloth, it’s a bit of a struggle sometimes to keep it tidy. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the rhythm of the work by heart. It’s steady, and we like it that way. If you need to find us, just look for the house at number 4. We’re usually inside working on the next batch of things for our customers.
