Shivani Fashions

Our place is at 4/57-A, Rajendra Gining Compound, near Veerapandi Post. Shivani Fashions has been around for a while, and it’s a pretty simple operation. We deal with clothes and fabrics all day long. The compound itself is an old industrial area, so it’s not exactly the prettiest spot to work, but it suits us just fine. There are piles of fabric everywhere you look, and the sound of sewing machines is basically the background noise of our lives. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a bunch of salespeople in suits. It’s just us and the workers getting the stitching done. Veerapandi can get really hot in the afternoons, and the fans in the shop are always on full blast. Sometimes we get behind on orders when the power acts up, but we always manage to catch up. Most of the people around here know us by now. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People just hear about us and stop by the compound to see what we're making. It’s a small, local business and we like it that way. We spend our time checking threads and making sure the patterns are cut right. It’s a lot of sitting at tables and looking at details. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
