Shasti Fashion

Shasti Fashion is located at 37/49 TNK Puram 3rd Street, just off Kongu Main Road. It is a very convenient spot because we are close to all the main transport links. The building is a simple two-story house that we converted into a workspace. We use the bottom floor for the heavy work and the top floor for storage and a small office area. It gets quite cramped when we have a lot of fabric coming in, and sometimes we have to move things around just to find a place to sit. The walls are painted a pale yellow that is starting to fade. We have a few sewing machines that are almost always running. The sound of the needles is like background music to us now. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery guys and the occasional neighbor. We like to keep things simple and direct. There is no big corporate structure here. If there is a problem, we just talk about it and fix it right then. We usually eat our lunch together on the small porch in the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and most of the people around here know us by name. We just focus on the daily tasks and getting the stitching right.
