Global Saints

You can find us at No 1249 in the Shree Vasavi Complex. We are right on Big Bazzar Street, which is probably one of the busiest spots in the Town Hall area. It’s across from the old Karnatic Theatre, so there’s always something happening outside our door. The noise from the market is constant. We have a modest space here. It’s not very big, but we’ve tucked everything in where it fits. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. Most of our day is spent dealing with the flow of people coming through the complex. It’s a mix of shoppers and workers from the nearby stores. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure we have what people need. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky tap or a door that squeaks every time it opens. We just live with it. Sometimes we step out onto the street just to see the crowd, but it’s usually better to stay inside where it’s a bit more organized. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of place. We’ve been part of this street for a while now, and you get to know the other shop owners. It’s a tight-knit community despite all the chaos of the bazaar.
