Shanmugam Shop

Our shop is located on Trichy Road in Ondipudur, right near the bridge that everyone knows in this part of Coimbatore. If you know the 641016 area, you’ve probably passed by us without even thinking about it. We have been here for a while and the shop has seen a lot of changes on this road. It’s a straightforward place where we keep things that people in the neighborhood actually need. We don't have any bright signs or anything to attract attention, just a regular storefront. The bridge nearby makes the area quite busy, especially during the morning and evening commute times. It can get a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic, so we spend a good chunk of our morning just dusting off the jars and packets on the front counter. Shanmugam is usually here overseeing things, making sure we don't run low on the essentials. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock, but most of the time we are out front talking to the customers. The weather in Coimbatore can be a bit unpredictable, so we’re always prepared for a sudden rain shower to send people running inside the shop for cover. It’s a local business through and through, nothing corporate about it. We just open up early, stay open late, and deal with whatever the day brings our way on Trichy Road.
