Senria Fashions

Our place, Senria Fashions, is tucked away on Bangalow Street. It is No. 18, and we are right near the Eastman Exports main gate in Odakkadu. Having such a big neighbor means there are always people moving around and lorries waiting to load up fabrics and goods. Our street is a bit narrower, so it gets crowded quickly with motorcycles and pedestrians. Inside, it is all about the garment work. We have different sections for different tasks. The air smells like new cotton most of the time. We have been at this spot for a good while now. The building is older, but it serves us well enough for what we do every day. We do not spend much on decorations because the fabric takes up all the space anyway. It is a practical environment. When the shifts change at Eastman, the whole street gets loud with voices and motorcycles. We usually take our tea breaks then. It is a community feel in Odakkadu. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We just keep our heads down and handle the stitching. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for it to come back, but that is just part of working here. Senria Fashions isn't a showroom; it is a working site. We just focus on getting the piles of cloth turned into something useful. It is just our daily routine on Bangalow Street.
