Saroram Apparel

You can find Saroram Apparel over at No. 64 Palayakadu 2nd Street. It is just off the Uthukuli Main Road, so it is pretty easy to get to, though the traffic can be a mess during rush hour. The office is a bit small, and we have to be careful how we stack the finished goods so we don't run out of walking space. We mostly focus on getting the orders ready for the buyers. It involves a lot of checking for loose threads and making sure the colors match the samples. Some days the power goes out, and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on, which is just part of living and working here. We have a few sewing machines and a cutting table that has seen better days, but it gets the job done. The people working here are mostly locals from around the Palayakadu area, so there is a lot of chatting about family and local news while we work. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. It is a bit dusty and the noise from the main road is constant, but we like the spot we have. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It is a simple life and a simple business that has served us well over time.
