Saravana Apparels

Our shop, Saravana Apparels, is located at 32 Mariamman Koil Street here in Tirupur. It’s a pretty simple setup where we spend our days working with different kinds of fabrics and making clothes. We’ve been in this same spot for quite a while, and the neighborhood feels like home to us. Being near the temple, there’s always something going on in the street, which keeps things interesting. We aren't a big, fancy factory with hundreds of workers. It’s just a small team of us, mostly local folks who have been sewing and cutting for years. We focus on basic apparel, the kind of stuff people wear every day. Most of what we do is made from cotton because that’s what works best in the Tirupur heat. We don't have any big marketing plans or a corporate office; we just open the doors in the morning and get to work. People from around the area stop by to see what we’ve finished, and we’ve built up a good group of regulars over time. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with rolls of cloth and finished bundles, but we know where everything is. We like the work because it’s practical and we get to see the final product right in front of us. There’s no big mystery to what we do; we just try to make decent clothes and keep our customers happy without any fuss.
