Our shop is located on Nava India Road, specifically at Plot 104-B in the Ganapathy area. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. We make various engineering products, mostly small metal parts that eventually go into much bigger machines. The building is a simple one, nothing too special to look at if you’re just driving by. Inside, however, it’s a different story with all the lathes and milling machines running throughout the day. It gets pretty loud in here, so we usually have to shout a bit just to be heard over the noise. We have a small team of guys who really know their way around metal and tools. Most of the staff have been working here for many years and they’re good at what they do. It’s a steady kind of work that doesn't change much. We get orders from other local businesses and sometimes from companies further away. The floor is usually covered in some metal shavings, and there’s always that lingering smell of cutting oil in the air. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; we just focus on the work that comes through the door. If the machines are running smoothly and the orders are going out, we’re doing okay. It’s a decent, honest way to make a living in Ganapathy.
