We are located on Veerakkalpudur Road, occupying numbers 789 and 801. It’s a long stretch of road and we have two different spots along it. We move back and forth between the two buildings quite a bit during the day. It’s a lot of walking. We handle various goods and trade, mostly keeping things moving from one place to another. The road outside can get quite busy with lorries and buses. There isn't much shade around here, so it gets very hot in the summer months. Our buildings are plain, just functional spaces with high ceilings and heavy gates. We’ve been on this road for a long time now. Most of the people working with us have been here since the start. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. We know the people who live nearby and the other shop owners on the road. It’s a community feel even though the work is hard. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and see what the day brings. Usually, there is some paperwork to clear before the deliveries start arriving. We just take it one step at a time and try to stay organized as best as we can without making things too complicated.
