Sangeethraja Weaving Mills Privatelimited

This place in Semparaikadu has been with our family for quite some time. My father, the late Palanisamy, was the one who really got things started on this land. Now we run Sangeethraja Weaving Mills here at SFNO. 172-1A1. It’s a bit out of the way from the main town, but that actually works out fine for the weaving machines. We have the looms going most of the time during the day. The rhythmic sound is something you just get used to after a while. It's not a corporate office with fancy furniture and air conditioning. It’s a real working mill. We have a few guys from the nearby village who work with us. We know their families and their kids. Sometimes we all share lunch under the big trees outside when it gets too hot to stay inside the shed. The work can be hard on the back and the shoulders. We just weave what the market needs. It’s nothing too complicated. We don't have a website or any social media, just our name and the work we do. We deal with yarn and thread all day long. My hands are always a bit rough from handling the material. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times after the big rains. That’s just part of life here. We don't spend any money on advertisements. We just rely on people knowing us. It’s a quiet life in Semparaikadu when the machines are finally off for the evening.
