S-P-Apparels is located over at number thirty-nine on the extension street in Kaikattipudur. Being in the Avinashi area of Tiruppur district means things are always moving fast. We’ve got a lot of history in this part of town. The building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose for making clothes. You can hear the hum of the machines from the street when we are in the middle of a big production run. We handle various types of apparel, mostly focusing on the basic stuff that people need every day. The weather in Tiruppur can get really hot, so we usually start quite early in the morning to beat the sun. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. We see a lot of trucks moving through Kaikattipudur, carrying fabric back and forth. It’s a hardworking place. There are no fancy decorations in the office, just desks covered in samples and measuring tapes. We’ve had some ups and downs like any other business, but we keep the doors open and the needles moving. If someone stops by looking for work or to pick up an order, they usually find us busy in the back. It isn't a glamorous job, but there is a certain pride in seeing a finished box of clothes ready to go out. We just keep at it day after day.
