S. M. Fashion Wear

We are located near Kaliappa Nagar on the Kangeyam Road. S. M. Fashion Wear is just a small shop and workroom in this area. Kangeyam Road is always busy with people heading in and out of town. Being near Kaliappa Nagar makes it easy for the local workers to reach us. Our space isn't very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. There’s a section for the sewing machines and a small area where we keep the finished clothes. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just open the doors every morning and see what needs to be done. Most of our time is spent at the benches, working on various fashion items. The noise from Kangeyam Road is constant, but it becomes background noise after a while. Sometimes customers drop in to see how their orders are coming along. We don't have fancy displays, just some racks and shelves. The walls are mostly covered with patterns and thread spools. It’s a bit dusty because of the main road, but we try to keep the garments clean. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the locals know the name. It’s a simple way of life, just making clothes and trying to stay busy. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood near the Kaliappa Nagar junction. It's a bit of a grind sometimes, but we keep the fans going and get through the stack of work on the table.
