S L Garments

At S L Garments, we spend most of our days at 261, Annuparpalayam. This part of T M Poondi is always moving. There are lots of other shops around, so it never really stays quiet. Our space is filled with stacks of different fabrics and finished pieces. It isn't a showroom with bright lights or anything. It’s more of a workspace where things get done. You will see threads on the floor and piles of boxes waiting to be moved. We have been here at this address for some time. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the clothes to worry about that. People from the local area know where to find us. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the machines set up and enough space to move around, though it gets cramped when new stock arrives. Sometimes it gets hot inside during the middle of the day. We usually keep the doors open to let some air in from the street. It’s a bit of a walk from the main junction, but it’s easy to spot once you get onto the right lane. We just keep our heads down and handle the garment work as it comes in. It’s not a fancy place, just a local business trying to keep up with the daily orders in Annuparpalayam.
