Royal Machine Works

You can find us at Sf26 over in Murugan Nagar. That’s where Royal Machine Works is set up. It’s a decent-sized space where we keep our machines and do all our fabrication and repair stuff. We aren't much for advertising or anything like that, we just let the work speak for itself. Most days start early with us checking the machines and getting the oils ready. There’s a lot of steel and metal around the shop, so you have to watch your step. We do all sorts of machining jobs depending on what people bring to us. Some days it's quiet and we are just doing maintenance, and other days it’s nonstop noise from the lathes and drills. Murugan Nagar is a good spot for us, and we’ve settled in quite well. We don't have a team of secretaries or a big corporate office, it’s just the guys in the back getting their hands dirty. We take the measurements seriously because that’s what matters in this trade. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. That’s just part of the deal. We enjoy the work and the fact that we can see what we’ve made at the end of the day. It’s honest work and we keep the shop running as best as we can every single week. It’s a lot of manual effort but that’s the way we’ve always done things here. We just stay focused on the tasks we have to finish.
