Revathi Garments

You can find Revathi Garments at No. 15C on the Selvaraj Nagar Main Road. We are situated in M.S. Nagar East, right near the Kongu Main Road. Being on the main road means there is always traffic noise and bikes buzzing past. Inside the building, the air smells like new cotton and ironed cloth. We have rows of machines lined up. It’s not a large place, but we make the most of the space we have. There are shelves stacked high with different colored fabrics. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific roll when things get hectic. We drink tea twice a day and talk about the news while we take a break. The floor is concrete and stays a bit cool even in the heat. We have a small area near the back for the ironing boards and packing. The windows stay open mostly to let some air in, though the dust from the road comes in too. It’s just a normal workplace. Nothing fancy or corporate about it. We’ve had the same neighbors for years and we all get along fine. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we get back to it as soon as we can. It’s just us doing our jobs day in and day out on the main road. We don't have any big titles here, everyone just helps out where they can.
