Rebha Apparels

Rebha Apparels is based at No. 7 A Pothigai Nagar. We are right off the No. 15 Velampalayam Solipalayam Main Road. It is a pretty good spot because the main road is always active. You can hear the bikes and trucks going past all day long while we are inside. We do apparel work here, which means there are always scraps of cloth on the floor and rolls of material leaning against the corners. The sun hits the front of the building in the morning, so it stays pretty warm inside. We usually have a fan going to keep things moving. It isn’t a massive factory or anything like that, just a local place where we show up and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on Solipalayam Main Road, but we just manage it as it comes. We’ve got a few people working here now, and we all know each other well. We eat lunch together and talk about whatever is on the news. It is a straightforward business without any of those complicated office rules you see in the city. Pothigai Nagar is a decent place to be situated. Most of the people around here are doing the same kind of thing, just working hard and trying to get through the week. We try to keep the place organized, but with so much fabric, it’s a struggle. We’ve been at this address for a long time.
