Rbr Garments

Rbr Garments is based in Ramapiran Colony, which is just off the Dharapuram Road. This part of town is usually buzzing with traffic, but once you turn into the colony, it gets a little bit quieter. We operate out of a modest building where the main focus is just getting the garments made. The Dharapuram Road is a major route, so we get a lot of trucks passing by heading into the main part of the city all day and night. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles at our place. It’s a functional space with enough room for the cutting tables and the workers to sit at their machines. The lighting is okay, but we often keep the doors open to get that natural light and a bit of a breeze when it gets stuffy. Life in Ramapiran Colony is pretty steady. We know our neighbors, and they know us. Most days start with a tea from the stall down the road before we get the machines humming. There is always a lot of thread and fabric lying around, which is just the nature of the business. We don't use any fancy management techniques; we just look at what needs to be done and we do it. Rbr Garments has been in this spot for a while, and we’ve seen the road get busier and busier over the years. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the work we have.
