Prakash Agencies is located over at Shop No. 21 in the Hari Sri Centre. Finding us can be a bit of a trick if you aren't from around here because of all the street names. We are on Sarojini Street, but that’s also near Ramar Kovil Street in the Ramnagar area. Most people just look for Hotel Velan and then they can find their way to us from there. The building is usually buzzing with people going to different shops. Our space is tucked in there with all the other agencies. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and getting the ledger ready for whatever the day brings. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to people who come in looking for specific items. The traffic on the street outside can be a real mess during the lunch hour, especially with the hotel being so close. We’ve got a small team here, and we’ve all been working together for a long time. We know the neighborhood well and have seen a lot of shops change hands over the years, but we’ve stayed put at number 21. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, but we manage to shift things around. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop and the phone. It’s just a regular local agency doing what we’ve always done in this part of Ramnagar. Sometimes we stay late to finish the books and get ready for tomorrow.
