Raj Priya Exports

Raj Priya Exports is located at No. 1 in J. G. Nagar, 1st Street, over in Kumaranandapuram. Being in Tirupur, we are surrounded by the textile trade. Our building isn't anything special to look at. It’s a functional space where we handle all the export work. We have a lot of sewing machines and a big area for inspection and packing. The walls are just plain white and there are fans spinning overhead to keep the heat down. We spend most of our time checking seams and counting pieces before they go into the cartons. J. G. Nagar is a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement. You can always hear the sound of trucks being loaded nearby. We have a small office area with a couple of computers that are a bit slow. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s our main break. It’s hard work, and the days can be long when a big order is due. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People who come here are usually here for business, not to look at decor. We keep things simple. The floor is concrete and we use chalk to mark the batches. It’s just the way things are done in Tirupur. Raj Priya Exports is just a bunch of us working hard to get the garments out on time from our corner of Kumaranandapuram.
