Rainbow Metal Cutting

We’ve been here at Sanganoor Road for a while now. Most people in Ganapathy know the spot, right opposite the Pattatharasai Amman Kovil. It’s a busy road and the workshop gets quite noisy once the machines start up in the morning. We spend our days handling various metal sheets and getting the cutting work done for whoever walks in. It’s mostly local jobs, small parts or pieces for construction. Sometimes it gets dusty inside and we have to take breaks to clear things out. The machines need a lot of looking after, so there’s always someone checking the blades or oiling something. We aren't a big factory, just a regular shop where we get our hands dirty every day. People bring in their measurements, we talk about what's possible, and then we get to it. Some days are faster than others depending on the power or how many orders came in the day before. It’s honest work and we like being part of this neighborhood. You’ll usually see us out front during tea time when the traffic slows down a bit. We don't have a fancy office or anything, just the workbench and the tools we use. It works for us and the people who come here. We keep it straightforward. If there’s metal that needs a clean cut, that’s what we do until the shutters go down in the evening.
