Radhas Designers Company

You can find Radhas Designers Company right on Raja Street at No 121 A & B. We occupy a couple of units there which gives us enough room to spread out our work. It’s a busy area and there’s always something happening outside our doors. We spend most of our hours looking at fabrics and making sure the stitching is right. It gets pretty loud with all the machines going at once, but we’re used to it by now. The lighting in the shop is okay, though we sometimes wish for more sun during the winter months. People often stop by just to ask about what we are working on that week. We don’t have a flashy showroom, just some racks and the work tables where everything happens. Sometimes we run behind on things because the handwork takes a lot of time and patience. Our neighbors on Raja Street are mostly shops too, so it feels like a nice little community of people working. We try to keep the front area tidy, but thread and scraps of cloth always seem to find their way onto the floor. It’s just how a workshop looks when people are actually working. We’ve been at this location for some time and most people around here know us by name. It isn’t a big company with many departments, just a few of us doing the sewing and cutting every day. We just focus on getting the piles of work finished before the day ends. It’s a lot of long hours but we just keep at it.
