We are located at Number 7 in Thiruvalluvar Nagar, right on Pattanam Road in Ondipudur. It’s a quiet enough corner compared to the main city center, but we stay busy with the engineering work. We mostly do bits and pieces of metal fabrication and fixing up parts for people nearby. The shop isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit all the lathes and welding gear we need into the space. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze when a large frame is being put together on the floor. My father started this kind of work, and I just kept it going. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few guys who know their way around a blueprint. Most of our days are spent listening to the hum of the motors and the spark of the welders. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the big front doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in Ondipudur, just a reliable one where people can bring a broken part and get it sorted without too much fuss. We use a lot of grease and the floors always have some metal shavings on them, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign out front and the phone that rings when someone’s in a hurry. It works for us.
