Prism Castings

Out here in Dr. Udyhayamoorthy Nagar, things are usually moving pretty fast. We are situated at 344/3, not too far from Luna Nagar on Thadagam Road. Prism Castings has been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The neighborhood is full of small workshops and industrial units, so the sound of machinery is basically the background music for our whole day. We handle a lot of casting work, which means the floor is always a bit gritty and the heat from the furnace is something you just get used to after the first week. Our team is small, mostly locals who live nearby and walk or cycle in. We do not have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone walks in, they just find one of us on the shop floor with a pair of gloves on. We spend a lot of time checking molds and making sure the metal is pouring right. It is a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the shift, everyone is pretty tired. Thadagam Road can get busy with lorries, so we try to get our shipping done early in the morning before the traffic peaks. We are not looking to become some global giant. We just want to keep the machines running and make sure the parts we send out are solid. It is a simple operation, run by people who actually know how to work the equipment.
