Prim Engineering

We are over at C-34, Private Industrial Estate, and it is where Prim Engineering handles various engineering tasks. It’s not a large facility, but we have enough space for our tools and the projects we take on. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or oil, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just talk to people directly when they come by the shop. Most of the guys here have been doing this kind of work for years. We don’t really have a set routine; it mostly depends on what needs to be fixed or built that week. Some days are slow and we just clean the machines, and other days we’re working late to hit a deadline. We like being in the industrial estate because it feels like everyone is in the same boat, just trying to get through the workday. We don't make any grand claims about what we do. It’s just engineering. We take the blueprints, we cut the metal, and we put things together. It’s a basic way to earn a living and it suits us fine.
