Premier Precision Engineering

Our place is up on the second floor of the V.B.K. Complex. You have to go behind North Chinthamani in R.S. Puram to find us. It’s 11-C, just look for the stairs. Premier Precision Engineering has been in this spot for a good bit. It’s a bit of a climb with parts, but we manage. The room is full of different tools and benches. It gets noisy when everything is running at once. We are mostly busy with the technical stuff. Ramasamy Road is usually crowded, so parking can be a bit of a pain for anyone coming by. We just focus on what’s on the table in front of us. Some days are longer than others, especially when a machine needs fixing. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. Just a few of us here making things work. We drink a lot of tea while we look at drawings. If the fan isn't on, it gets stuffy fast. We try to keep things tidy, but engineering work is messy by nature. There are scraps and metal bits everywhere. People know us in R.S. Puram because we’ve been around. We don't do much talking, just doing the work that comes in. Premier Precision Engineering is just the name on the door, really. We just try to get the jobs done right so we can stay open and pay the bills. It is not always easy, but we keep showing up.
