Precimech Tools is located at No.70 on Sathy Road in Ganapathy. If you know Sathy Road, you know it’s one of the busiest stretches around. The noise from the cars and trucks never really stops, so we’ve learned to work through it. Our shop is where we make all sorts of tools and components. It requires a lot of concentration, even with all the commotion outside. We have a few machines that have been with us since the beginning, and they still work better than the new stuff sometimes. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to come by and find us at the back of the shop. We might be covered in oil or metal shavings, so don’t expect a handshake from a guy in a suit. We just do the work that comes in. Some jobs are easy and some take us days of scratching our heads and trying different things. There’s no big secret to how we do it; it’s just about being careful and taking the time to get the dimensions right. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the traffic, and we drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. It’s a small place, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't really ask for much more than that.
