We are based at No. 4 Nehru Nagar, which is right by the Civil Aerodrome Post. Being so close to the airport area means we hear the planes overhead quite often, but you get used to that after a few days. Our building is a simple structure where we handle all the clothing orders that come through. It is a functional space, filled with cardboard boxes and stacks of folded shirts or trousers. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls; we just have what we need to get the packing and sorting done. The staff here is mostly from the local neighborhood, and we have been working together for a long time. Every morning starts with a quick check of what needs to be sent out. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters or checking the weight of the bundles. It can be quite dusty when we move the old stock around, but that is part of the clothing business. We don't bother with big marketing meetings or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything is ready by the time the trucks arrive in the evening. The air here feels a bit different than the city center, and it gives us enough room to move the larger shipments without blocking the whole street.
