We've been here at No 143 on Poondi Ring Road for a while now. If you know Tirupur, you know how busy it gets around Pooluvappati Privu with all the garment work going on. At Anusam Apparels, we just focus on getting the sewing done and making sure the pieces look right before they head out the door. It’s a lot of noisy machines and stacks of fabric most days. The team stays busy from morning till evening, usually with tea breaks in between to keep everyone going. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. It’s a workshop where we actually handle the cloth and do the cutting ourselves. Sometimes the weather gets really hot here, but we keep moving because the orders don't wait. Folks around here know where to find us if they need a batch of shirts or whatever else is on the schedule. We’ve seen the road change over the years, more traffic and more buildings popping up, but our spot stays the same. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest work with needles and thread. Most of our workers live nearby, so it’s a bit of a local crew. We try to keep things organized, even if it looks a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a big run. That’s just how it goes when you’re actually making things. Just a regular place doing regular clothing work right here in the heart of the textile hub.
