Our company, Cbc Fashions Asia Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away at No 11 Mr. Nagar in the KNP Colony. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet except for the usual morning rush. We have been here long enough that we know most of the people on the street. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some desks, a lot of fabric samples lying around, and a few old chairs that we probably should have replaced years ago. But they are comfortable enough for us. Working in fashion means there is always something new coming across the table. We spend a lot of time looking at different materials and trying to figure out what will work best for the next batch of clothes. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. Not like what you see on TV with all the bright lights. Here at No 11 Mr. Nagar, it’s more about checking the stitching and making sure the colors match up. Sometimes the shipments arrive late, and we have to stay late to get things sorted. My staff is good about it, though. We usually order some food and just get through it together. It’s a small operation compared to some of the giants, but Cbc Fashions Asia Pvt. Ltd. has its own way of doing things. We just try to do a good job every day. There is no point in making things sound more grand than they are, we just show up and work.
