Perilac Garments

We are over at No. 3/485 on the Uthukuli Main Road here in Mannari. Most days, it is pretty loud outside with all the trucks and bikes going past on the main road, but inside at Perilac Garments, we just keep our heads down and get on with the sewing. Mannari is a busy place and being right on the road means people often stop by just to see what we are doing. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where we handle the fabric and make sure the machines are running right. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up. It’s a lot of work. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Most of the folks working here live nearby, so we walk or take a short bus ride to get to work every morning. We start early when it’s still a bit cool. By noon, the sun is really hitting the front of the shop. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the tables for cutting and the rows of machines. If you are looking for us, look for the 3/485 mark near the bend. It’s easy to miss if you drive too fast. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep the orders moving out the door to wherever they need to go next. Most of the time it is just the same routine, but we are used to it by now and it works.
