Tvr Apparels

You can find us at No. 2/952 on 12th Street in Mahalakshmi Nagar. We are just off the Palladam Main Road, which is pretty convenient for getting materials in and out. Tvr Apparels is a straightforward workshop. We have rows of machines and a lot of thread everywhere. It gets a bit loud when everyone is working at once, but you get used to the rhythm after a while. The 12th Street area is mostly residential and small businesses, so it stays relatively calm compared to the main road itself. We keep a simple schedule here. We start early to avoid the worst of the heat. Most of the folks working here have become like a small family because we see each other every single day. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people find out about us just by walking past or through word of mouth. The floor is usually covered in little scraps of fabric that we have to sweep up at the end of the shift. It’s a constant battle to keep things tidy. We have a small area for tea breaks which is where most of the talking happens. Other than that, we are focused on the garments. We don't overthink it. We just look at what needs to be stitched and get to it. Some days are long, but we just keep pushing through the pile. We are just regular people making clothes on a busy street.
