Sri Sai Manju Engineering

Our shop is right near the Thirumurugan Mill stop on Palladam Road. If you miss the petrol pump nearby, you’ve gone too far and need to turn back. It’s a bit of a noisy area with all the traffic but we like it that way because we make a lot of noise ourselves with the machines running all day. We do engineering work for the local businesses and factories around here. It isn't anything glamorous or high-tech. Just metal, welding, and some lathe work mostly. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to talk to people directly without any middlemen. Most of our regulars just stop by when they have a part that snapped or a basic design they need help with. We usually have a hot tea together while looking at the drawings on the workbench. The traffic on Palladam Road can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, but we are used to it by now. My staff has been with me for a long time and they are like family. We don’t use those big words or fancy brochures to get business. If we can do the job, we say yes. If we can’t, we tell you honestly who might be able to help you out. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We clean it up, then start again the next morning. It’s hard work, but seeing a finished piece of machinery work right is a good feeling.
