Padmanaban Engineering Industries

Our business is based over on Kattabomman Street in Ganapathy. The number is 136. It’s a busy industrial pocket of the city. We’ve been running this engineering shop for quite a while now. The floors are concrete and usually have a bit of oil or metal shavings on them. That’s just the way it is when you’re making parts. We have a few lathes and milling machines that keep us occupied from morning until evening. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The guys working here are from the local area and they’ve picked up the trade over many years. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the drawings or the broken parts people bring in and we try to make them work again. The street outside can get quite clogged with trucks, so unloading can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just meet us right there on the shop floor. We don’t really do any advertising. Word of mouth seems to keep us busy enough. We focus on the task at hand and try to make sure we don’t make any mistakes. It’s just a steady, honest way to spend the day. We’ve been part of the Ganapathy community for a long time. It’s nothing more and nothing less than a working machine shop.
