Arav Fashion is located at No. 10 on Arukombai 3rd Street, just off P. N. Road. It’s tucked away a little bit, so you have to look for the turn. It’s a small place, mostly filled with the sound of sewing machines running. We spend a lot of our time cutting fabric and stitching things together. It’s not a quiet office. There’s always thread on the floor and scraps of cloth everywhere. We’ve been at this Arukombai 3rd Street address for a few years now. The neighborhood knows us well. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It’s more of a workspace where things get made. Sometimes it gets a bit hot inside when all the machines are going at once, so we keep the door open to get some air from the street. We aren't trying to be a big brand. We just like making clothes that fit well. Most of our days are spent checking the seams and making sure the buttons are on right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don't mind it. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us bent over the tables. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the needles. It’s a simple life here on P. N. Road, just keeping the machines humming and the orders moving along. We like the work and the people we meet.
