Our business, Orange Owl Textiles Private Limited, is up in the hills. We are located at 267 F, Brooklands, in Coonoor. It’s a lot different here in The Nilgiris than it is down in the hot plains. The air is cooler and things move a bit slower, which we don’t mind at all. Our place is tucked away in a quiet area that feels very peaceful. It’s not a big industrial building; it’s more of a local setup that fits right into the surroundings. We work with textiles here, and the climate actually helps with some of the materials we use. We don’t have a big corporate team at all. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. The address at Brooklands is easy to find if you know Coonoor well, but it’s still fairly quiet. We have stacks of fabric and various tools scattered around the different workrooms. It’s a bit messy at times, especially when we’re in the middle of a big project, but we like it that way. It shows we’re actually doing something. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or websites. We’d rather just focus on the textiles themselves and the work at hand. People around here know us as Orange Owl and they know where to find us if they need anything. It’s a simple life up here in the mountains, and we try to run the business with that same kind of straightforwardness. No big promises or fancy talk at 267 F.
