Open Air Fashions

Open Air Fashions is tucked away at Door Number 4 in K.G. Garden, right on the Kathir Nagar 4th Street Extension. It’s near Kangayam Road, which makes it easy enough to find if you know the area. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite a while now. The space isn't huge, but it fits our machines and the cutting tables just fine. It can get a bit stuffy in here when everyone is working at once, so we usually keep the windows open to get a bit of a breeze, hence the name, I suppose. We aren't some big fancy company with a glossy lobby. We just have a few rooms filled with fabric and thread. Most days are spent cutting and stitching, trying to get through the pile of work before the sun goes down. We don't really do much on the internet or with big ads. Most of our business comes from people who know us or work nearby in Kggarden. It’s a busy little neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside on the street. We just keep our heads down and focus on the garments. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and have to go running out to find more, but that’s just part of the job. It’s a decent way to make a living, and we’re happy to be here in Kathir Nagar. We pack the last box and call it a day.
