Om Saravanabava Fabrication Works

Our shop, Om Saravanabava Fabrication Works, is situated over on Barathiyar Road in the Ganapathy area. We are right there in Puliamarathottam, which is a place where a lot of manual work happens every day. Mostly, we are busy with iron and steel, bending things and welding them together for whatever project is on the schedule. It is a straightforward operation here. We have the basic equipment needed to cut metal and join pieces, and there is usually a bit of a mess with scrap pieces on the floor because we are always in the middle of something. People from around Ganapathy know where to find us when they need a gate fixed or some frames made for a building. The traffic on Barathiyar Road can be heavy, especially in the afternoons, but we just stay inside the shop and focus on the welding sparks. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just a small desk and a lot of floor space for the heavy stuff. It is hard work and our clothes usually have a bit of soot or grease on them by the end of the shift. We have stayed at this number 19 spot for a while, just being a local place for metal tasks. It is just us working through the pile of orders we get from the locals. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just the one that gets the job done without any unnecessary delays or complications for the folks who come in.
