Ramjay Metal Coats

We’re located at S. F. No. 114/2, which is part of the Kumaran Acade area near the Nggo Colony Gate on Mtp Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful to tell people, but once you get here, Ramjay Metal Coats is easy to spot. The workshop is usually noisy because we’ve got the machinery running most of the day. There is the constant smell of metal and paint in the air. We’ve been at this for a while now, starting with just a few basic tools and a lot of patience. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from years of work. We do metal coating, which means our hands are rarely clean. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we’re used to it. The office is just a corner walled off from the main floor so we can hear ourselves speak when customers come by. We have a calendar on the wall from three years ago that nobody bothered to take down. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers making sure the finish on the metal comes out okay. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you just shout until someone hears you over the noise. People bring us all sorts of parts to coat, and we just get to it. It’s a messy business, but someone has to do the work.
