New Tech Fabrication

We are located over at No.163/1 in Amman Kovil Thottam, which is in the Ganapathy area. New Tech Fabrication is basically a workshop where we deal with a lot of metal and welding. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the sound of grinders or see the sparks from the machines. It’s a dusty job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. Ganapathy is a busy part of town with a lot of small workshops like ours. We’ve got our tools spread out and there’s usually a project or two taking up most of the floor space. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a reception desk or a waiting room. Most people just walk right into the shop area. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and joining pieces together. The heat from the welding can be a lot during the summer months, so we drink a lot of water throughout the day. There’s a small temple nearby, the Amman Kovil, which is how people usually find their way to this street. We aren’t trying to be anything fancy, just a local fabrication shop doing honest work for the people who need it. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but that’s just part of being in this line of work. We keep the doors open for light and air, and we just keep at it until the sun goes down. Most days we are quite tired by the time we close up.
