Naveen Engineering Works

We are located at S.F.No. 194 in Kandaya Thottam, which is part of the Kavundampalayam area. Naveen Engineering Works is basically a local shop where we spend most of our time dealing with metal and machinery. It’s often quite noisy here because the lathes and drills are running from early morning until late. The shop floor isn't exactly spotless, as there's usually grease and metal shavings around, but that is just part of the job. We have been in this location for a while now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit with more traffic on the roads. People from around the thottam usually drop by when they have something that needs fixing or a specific part made. We don't really do much advertising; we just rely on people knowing we are here. Sometimes the heat in the shop gets a bit much during the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. It’s a small team of us working here. We try to be careful with our measurements because even a small mistake means starting over, and that wastes material. If you come by, you might find us in the middle of a big project, so it might take a minute for someone to come to the front. We just do the daily grind and try to keep everything running smoothly. It is simple, honest work that keeps us busy every day.
