Natural Garment

Natural Garment is located at No. 1/1 on Cheran Nagar, right along the Rakkiyapalayam Road in Vijayapuram. This area is usually pretty active with people coming and going. Being at 1/1 means we are right at the start of the stretch. Vijayapuram is a good place for a garment business because everything we need is close by. Our building is a simple one, mostly filled with the sound of sewing machines and people calling out to each other over the noise. The Rakkiyapalayam Road can get quite dusty, so we try to keep the front tidy, but it is a constant battle. We don’t have a big corporate team or anyone in suits. It’s just us, the workers, and the fabric. We spend the whole day measuring, cutting, and stitching. Sometimes the power goes out and everything goes quiet for a bit, which is a nice change, but then we have to work harder to catch up once it comes back. We’ve got a lot of cloth piled up in the corners, and the tables are always full of half-finished pieces. It’s a regular shop, and we don’t try to pretend it’s anything else. People know us in Cheran Nagar as the place that just keeps at it. We start early and stay until the work is done. It’s just a part of the daily life here in Vijayapuram.
