Narayana Steel Industries

We are located at No.50-A on Asoka Street in Edayarpalayam. It’s a regular industrial street, nothing too special to look at. Narayana Steel Industries is mostly just a big open space where we handle all the steel that comes in and goes out. You can hear the sound of metal hitting metal from the end of the block. We have a few heavy machines for cutting and bending, and they make a fair bit of noise throughout the day. The floors are concrete and stained with oil and bits of scrap metal here and there. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll just see us working near the back or loading a truck out front on Asoka Street. It gets pretty busy around noon when the deliveries arrive. The sun hits the metal and makes the whole place warm, so we keep the big doors open for whatever breeze we can get. We’ve had this spot for a while, and the neighbors are all used to the clanging by now. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Edayarpalayam, just trying to get the orders done so people can get on with their projects. Most of our day is spent moving heavy stuff around and making sure the measurements are okay. It’s hard work, and our hands are always dirty, but it’s what we know and how we spend our time every day.
