N. S. V. Engineering Works

N. S. V. Engineering Works is tucked away on 8th Street in Jothi Nagar. We are at No: 1, right in the Upplipalayam area. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, except when the delivery trucks are trying to turn around. We’ve been running this workshop for a long time. It’s a place where we do a lot of metalwork and custom parts. You won't find any fancy showrooms here. It’s mostly just lathes, welding sets, and scraps of iron in the corners. We aren't much for talking, we usually just get our heads down and work on whatever project is on the bench. The floor is stained with oil and the walls could probably use a coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us. We know where every tool is kept. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so we don't have to say much to get the job done. We get customers from all over the neighborhood. They come to us because they know we don't mess around and we charge a fair price. We aren't trying to get rich, just trying to keep the business going for another generation. It’s hard work and your back hurts at the end of the day, but there’s a good feeling when a job is finished right. We are always here if someone needs something fixed.
