Mutu Fashion

We are set up in the Yuvraj Complex over in Mannarai. It is a typical commercial complex with a lot of different businesses tucked into it. Mutu Fashion is on one of the floors there. Finding parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially on market days. The complex has that old building smell, but it is sturdy. We have a couple of rooms where we do all the work. One room is mostly for the tailoring and the other is for the finishing touches. It is not a very big space, so we have to stay organized. If we let the fabric piles get too high, there is nowhere to walk. Mannarai is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside. We hear the street vendors shouting and the bikes zooming by. The lighting inside is okay, but we use extra lamps for the detailed work. The people who work here are mostly local folks. We talk about the news or what’s happening in the neighborhood while we work. It is a relaxed atmosphere, but we still get the jobs done on time. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people who know us or see the sign at the complex. It is just a regular fashion workshop doing its thing in Mannarai. We come in early and leave when the work is finished for the day.
