M.S.M Fabrication

M.S.M Fabrication is situated at 735/4 on Avinashi Road. It’s a busy spot near Thottipalayam Pirivu, not too far from the Civil Aerodrome. You can hear the planes overhead at certain times, but mostly it's the sound of our own grinders and welding tools. We do a lot of fabrication work here, which involves a lot of sparks and heavy lifting. The workshop isn't exactly tidy, but it's a working space where things get made. We handle iron, steel, and whatever else comes our way. The team here consists of a few guys who have been doing this for a long time. They don't talk much, they just get on with the job. Avinashi Road is always packed with vehicles, so getting materials delivered can be a bit of a headache during the day. We have stacks of metal frames and sheets waiting to be turned into something useful. It’s not a clean job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do the work that people bring to us. If you’re heading towards the airport, you’ll probably pass us. We don't have a big marketing department, just a sign outside and the noise of work happening inside the shop. It's a basic, honest way to make a living in this part of town. We usually close up when the last job for the day is finished. It’s loud and dusty, but it’s our trade.
