Mrithula Fashion

We are located on Mangalam Road in the Karuvampalayam area of Tirupur. This part of town is always moving. You can see the bikes and the goods carriers going up and down toward Kangayam Road all day long. Mrithula Fashion is just a small place among many others here. We have some racks for the clothes and a few tables for the packing work. The heat in Tirupur can be quite a lot during the summer months, so we keep the windows open, even if it gets a bit noisy from the street. There is a small temple nearby that we pass every morning on the way in. We usually have a few people working here, mostly local folks from the neighborhood who know the work well. The floor is concrete and we have to sweep it twice a day because of the lint from the fabrics. It’s not the kind of place you see in magazines, just a practical workroom where things get made. We’ve had this spot for a few years now. Sometimes the rain floods the road outside a little bit, but it clears up fast. We spend most of our time checking the seams and making sure the colors are right. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied from morning until the sun goes down. Local people around here are mostly in the same business, so we all know each other pretty well.
