Modern Engineering Company

You can find Modern Engineering Company at 1-A, Anna Street. We are located in Venkatapuram, which is part of the Velandipalayam Post area. It’s a decent spot for an engineering shop, mostly because it’s tucked away from the heaviest traffic but still easy enough for people to get to. We’ve been set up here for a while, dealing with all the various metal and machine work that comes through. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil, which is pretty much what you expect from a place like ours. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating. The walls have some old calendars and maybe a few posters of machines, but that’s about it. We prefer to focus on the tasks at hand. Every morning starts about the same, with the sound of the machines warming up and the smell of tea from the place down the road. It’s a steady kind of life. We take on all sorts of engineering projects, some small and some a bit more involved. Most of the time it’s just us working through the orders as they come in. There isn't any big corporate structure here, just a group of us who know how to handle the equipment. We like the local feel of Anna Street and the people who live and work in this neighborhood.
