Micron Engineering Works

Our workshop is No.1/210-G2 on the Pollachi Main Road in Eachanari. Being right on the main road means we see a lot of trucks and cars passing by all day long. The building is a sturdy unit that has seen a lot of work over the years. We do engineering work here, which mostly involves a lot of cutting, welding, and assembling parts for different clients. The floor is usually covered in metal scraps and we have to sweep it out every evening before we head home. It is a loud place once the machines start running, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other over the noise. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small corner with a few chairs and a filing cabinet that has seen better days. The team here is small, and we all know how to do a bit of everything. We don't use any complicated jargon when we talk to the people who come in. We just look at what they need and tell them if we can do it. Eachanari is a good spot for us because it is easy for people to find us on the way into town. We keep the doors wide open most of the time to stay cool. It is a basic setup, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the jobs done on time and making sure our tools are in good shape for the next morning. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big piece of equipment before the trucks come to pick it up.
